Carmel Personal Stylist Shares Fall’s Hottest Boot Trends

Fall is here, and with it comes the opportunity to choose a new boot to update your wardrobe with the latest fashion trends. Personally and professionally, I love the fun boot choices here this season. I’ve always been partial to a good high-heeled boot, and these are definitely in this season. In this blog, I will share my Carmel Personal Stylist top picks- from fun western boots to beautiful floral ankle boots that will make your fall wardrobe ready to take on autumn with elegance and style.

Heeled Ankle Boots

Let’s start with a favorite of mine- the heeled ankle boot. These are a perennial favorite and there are plenty of choices to match your style. I’ve always been partial to a sleek stiletto boot to wear with a dress or skirt. The pointed toe elongates your silhouette and brings your wardrobe into this season effortlessly. You may prefer a block heel to pair them with skinny jeans and a leather jacket. These boots make pulling together a chic outfit almost effortless. My example here is a bootie with a little tweed on it. Love it.

You may start to notice the square-toe boot is becoming popular. I have a few of these, and I like them — they add an interesting vibe to my outfits.

Fun Western Boots

The Wild West has inspired a fun and spirited fall boot trend that is fresh and fun. Western boots are making a grand entrance with their pointed toes and unique stitching. There’s a shape, size, and color to match everyone’s personal style taste. I love the playfulness matched with the comfort and style that these boots have to offer. They are a nod to our rich American heritage and add a touch of excitement to your wardrobe. Pair these boots with your favorite jeans and a flannel shirt for your next outdoor family fall activity.

A word of caution: the western boot is a casual boot. Thus, you should wear it with a more casual outfit. For example, I was recently eating dinner with my husband at The Cheesecake Factory and saw a woman walk in, obviously just from the office. I noticed she had on a pair of dress pants a sweater twin, and. . . white cowboy boots. I do love white boots, by the way, but this combination did not work because she paired a very casual boot with a formal look. In my opinion as a Carmel Personal Stylist, loafers would have been a perfect option, especially those with a stacked heel.

Elevated Riding Boots

If you love tradition and timeless style, elevated riding boots are just what you need to bring some classic style to your closet. Some of my favorite features of riding boots are their clean lines, refined details, and top-quality materials. They also provide a comfortable and durable option for everyday wear. Whether you are taking a leisurely walk in the park or going to a more formal event, these boots are easily dressed up or down.
