Beyond all the fun trends out there — ruffles, Ts with sayings, etc., I have been seeing a beautiful pale blue in stores — in dresses, men’s shirts, even sleepwear. It is a beautiful color that is flattering on virtually everyone. Buy something in it today! Here are some examples:

I have used three amazing products recently that I love, and I wanted to pass them along to you. Number one is Dove’s Dry Skin Relief body wash. It is amazing — I actually think I could skip lotion that day I use it. If you have any kind of issue with dry skin or just like feeling moisturized, try it.
Dove Dermaseries Gentle Body Cleanser
The second product I am loving is really an old basic we’ve all used in a smaller, fun package. It’s Vaseline Lip Balm Mini Rosy. I like the rosy color and very soft scent. Plus it moisturizes lips the way we would expect a Vaseline product to do. You’ll love it!
An old standby hair pomade is American Crew (for men). I have used it a while, and it leaves hair styled but not greasy. It’s a great price, too. Try it — guys and girls!
It’s finally feeling spring-like here in Indianapolis, and I am encouraging all my clients to wear a facial moisturizer or at the least just a sunscreen product with SPF 30. Here are some of my favorite ones:

Just for guys — I know you like your good quality shoes. You wear them for years, polish them, re-sole them, etc. Even if it’s not your “go-to” brand, I challenge you to try Allen Edmond shoes. We have a great store at Keystone at the Crossing mall here in Indy. The shoes are made in America–Wisconsin, in fact–and will refurbish a worn pair when you need to do it. The styles, the leather, and last — the sizes are awesome. I was trying find an Oxford for a client who wears a 10EEE — Allen Edmunds was the only store who had them in stock. Ladies, I love jeans, and I wear them all the time! Casual looks, dressed up, suited up–I love them. I want to share some new brands I adore, and you will, too. For starters, I have been buying a couple of pairs of more unusual jeans. I already have my basic jeans from Lucky Jeans, JCrew and INC. These jeans have some really cute details such as the side seams of this number from Pistola. I love these jeans, and wear them constantly. Be sure and buy them snug, however because they stretch.
I also bought a pair of black crop jeans from Everyone. I love them. They are so flattering. They do not stretch, however, so I would buy your typical size.
Finally, I found a really cute pair of pastel jeans, big this year, from Gap. They are a light lavender, and I love them. They are in the Pantone Color of the Year! There are several colors from which to choose!
